About Me

Kimberly Bea fell in love with Greek mythology in the fifth grade, a love that led her to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in Ancient History. A California native, she moved to Minnesota for graduate school and lived there for 25 years before moving back to California to be close to her family. She has had fiction published in the anthologies Den of Thieves and Spring: Dreams and Nightmares edited by Carol Hightshoe and poetry in the anthology Nothing But Red edited by Skyla Dawn Cameron.  A member of the Society for the Promotion of Speculative Fiction, Kimberly enjoys knitting and crocheting, making beaded jewelry, and belly dance. She is represented by Z.R. Ellor of the Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency. Her debut novel, THE CHANGELING QUEEN, a prequel to the Ballad of Tam Lin from the POV of the villainous faery queen, is forthcoming in Fall 2025 from Erewhon Books.
